Dover, Del. (July 24, 2017) --- Delaware State's Alexis Neuer continues to add to her impressive list of achievements. Neuer, entering her sophomore year with the Hornet bowling team, has secured a spot on the USA Junior National Team  (under 20).

Neuer qualified for the coveted spot on the national team after finishing third with a final round average of 206.08 (990 total pinfall) at 2017 United States Bowling Congress Junior Gold Championships in Cleveland last week.

A native of Lewisburg, Pa., Neuer's freshman season at Delaware State was also highlighted  by a strong showing at the 2017 USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship and her selection as Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Co-Rookie-of-the-Year.

She also helped lead the Hornets to the 2016-17 MEAC Northern Division title.
