Dover, Del. (Aug. 17, 2010) --- Delaware State scored a goal in each period in a 2-0 win over Community College of Baltimore County in a women's soccer exhibition at Alumni Stadium Tuesday evening.

The Hornets scored their first goal when Latoya Lesane (jr.) found the net off a corner kick in the opening period. Freshman Alexandra Brosky capped off the scoring with a goal in the second frame.

Delaware State will open the 2010 women's soccer season at Maryland-Baltimore County this Friday (Aug. 20) at 5:00 p.m.

The Hornets will host the University of Delaware in their home opener this Sunday (Aug. 22). The match gets underway at 2:00 p.m. at Alumni Stadium on the DSU campus.
