Dover, Del. (Feb. 4, 2010) --- The major snow storm heading to our area has forced the postponement of the Delaware State University Capital Classic Bowling Tournament, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 6-7) at Brunswick Doverama in Rodney Village.

Thirteen collegiate women's bowling teams, including seven in the latest National Tenpins Coaches Association Top 20, were scheduled to compete in the tournament. Headlining the tournament field is No. 2 Maryland-Eastern Shore and No. 3 Delaware State.

DSU officials are hoping to reschedule the tournament for later this month.
