In their season opener the DSU Hornets fell 13-7 on Sept. 23 to the University of Georgia. Georgia took points in three of four of the riding disciplines. The Hornets won in Equitation Over Fences led by Elizabeth Tuttle's event leading 85 points. Tuttle was named MVP for the Equitation Over Fences event. Their next meet is scheduled for Oct. 27 in Waco, TX at the Baylor Tournament.
